Apolla
Roth, Web Mistress
Apolla joined the Gold Hound Treasure Team in 2008 and is the only member that is not located in sunny Sebastion Florida. Hailing out of Richmond Virginia, she has a technical background in Information Science and Artificial Intelligence (Robotics) from University of Pittsburgh. She has worked in many diverse industries such as Mellon Bank, American Management Systems, CGI (leading Technology Consulting Firm), Prince William County Schools in Northern VA, and later went on to become a successful "Day Trader".
She is an Advanced SSI certified Dive Control Specialist with certifications in NITROX, Night, Navigational, Stress and Rescue, and Deep and Wreck Diving. Her passion for water began at an early age when she became a "mudskipper" on the Swimming Hall of Fame team in Ft. Lauderdale at age 8. She attended several Olympic summer training camps and went on to break records all over the country. As a member of several United States All Star teams she became part of an elite group of swimmers ranking among top in the country.
Presently she has taken over management of Gold Hounds investment relations along with maintaining the company's web site. The team has dubbed her their "Web Mistress" and she is never far from her computer except for diving and working on new treasure ideas with Captain Bounds. If you are lucky... you can catch up with her Kayaking on the James River or assisting a scuba class on her "off" days.
